Dragomir Estate Winery

In the summer of 2006, we set out on the path to realizing a dream – to create our own wine house, where, with the knowledge, skills, perseverance and hard work accumulated over the years, our wine would be born.

We went through several winemaking locations – two years in the village of Bratya Daskalovi, ten years in Plovdiv, until in February 2020 we moved to our new winery in the village of Brestnik, 5 km from the city of Plovdiv, where we plan to grow old happily…

Throughout all these years, we have been guided solely by the thought of creating wines with our own style – uncompromising in quality, maximally showing the potential of the terroir of Bulgaria’s microdistricts, vinified with gentle technological practices and mainly produced with a large participation of local (autochthonous) grape varieties – Rubin, Mavrud, Dimyat and blends with them.

Over its 14 years of existence, the name Dragomir has become synonymous with quality, which we intend to build on in each subsequent harvest.

The new wine house of the Dragomir Wine Estate is a modern, avant-garde building, technologically designed entirely according to our instructions and fully consistent with the style of our wines. The production capacity is up to 90,000 bottles per year, mainly red wines. It is equipped with the latest generation of equipment and the highest class barrels. The tasting room is integrated into the production and while you enjoy the wine, you can also observe part of the technological process.
