La Magnolia
Friuli Colli Orientali is a small part of Italy’s northern Friuli region, very close to the border with Slovenia. It is a very hilly and extensive area, which is why it is ideal for the production of quality wines such as the local varieties Ribolla Gialla, Friulano (formerly known as Tocai) and Refosco, but also suitable for the full expression of international varieties such as Sauvignon Blanc, Pinot Gris, Cabernet Sauvignon and Pinot Noir.
Here, in these hills, where the cold northern winds are tempered by the warmth of the Adriatic Sea, lie the 40 hectares (about 98 acres) of La Magnolia, a winery and estate created forty years ago by Grandfather Guido and today headed by Cristina Cozzarolo.
La Magnolia produces a wide variety of white and red wines, all characterized by exceptional elegance and pleasantness.
